Beautiful museum with history and modern culture. There is an awesome Lego area, a place to exercise, and the landscape is gorgeous.
My husband's family emigrated from Denmark when they moved to Iowa a few generations ago, though we now live in SE Iowa, far from where the Jensen family once thrived not far from Elk Horn. We were practically delirious for the entire time we spent wandering the halls and showrooms of this museum. We look very forward to making repeat visits in the years to come.
What a great find, and unexpected. Incredibly procured. The movie alone was enough to get 5 stars. Definitely deserves your time whether you're Danish or not! Great Iowa history.
Really interesting museum, beautifully kept grounds, well worth walking around outside as well as inside. Run, bike and check out the outdoor gym equipment too.
Stopped in on our way back from a short family vacation. Wanted to spend more time there. Wonderfully put together.
